COSUA Salutes Nana

President Nana Akufo-Addo

The Coalition of Supporters Unions of Africa (COSUA) has joined voices with several individuals, companies, governments and organisations to congratulate President Akufo-Addo on his recognition as the African of The Year by Forbes Magazine.

In a statement dated December 8, 2021 and signed by the President of COSUA Global, Lawyer Sarfo Abebrese, COSUA lauded the Ghanaian President’s achievement as a “Definitive source of pride and inspiration to the citizens of the peaceful country of Ghana in particular, and the proud continent of Africa in general.”

The statement said it was only those with limited knowledge of the numerous accomplishments of the President that would disagree with Forbes’ decision and that it was only a matter of time for such people to become aware of why the world thinks so highly of his leadership.

The statement made reference to COSUA’s plan to hold the launching of the former African Union Ambassador to the USA, Her Excellency Arikana Chihombori-Quao’s book in Accra as a confirmation of His Excellency’s “sterling leadership to forge ahead our plans to mobilise citizens from all 55 African countries to support the 5 African countries which will represent Africa in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar”.

“We look forward to working closely with your high office in the very likely event of Ghana qualifying for Qatar 2022 under Your Excellency’s inspirational leadership, to avail the Black Stars the unified support of all the other 54 countries to make Africa proud,” Abebrese added.
