A total of 62,344 new confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported around the world, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
This moves the global total from 3,195,316 as of April 30 to 3,257, 660, the University says.
The world has also recorded 5,711 new deaths related to coronavirus, moving the fatalities from 227,705 to 233,416.
