The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported that as of December 19, 2020, total positive Covid19 cases in the country stood at 54,043.
According to GHS, the positive cases were confirmed out of a total test of 646,687, with cumulative positivity rate of 8.4%.
Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, made this known to the media in Accra on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
According to him, a total of 52,777 (97.7%) discharges or recoveries were recorded as of December 19.
He said there were a total of 333 deaths as of December 19, this year.
