Davido and Chioma
Nigerian music star Davido and his wife, Chioma, have held their much-anticipated white wedding in Miami, Florida, in a ceremony estimated to have cost $3.7 million.
The event, hosted at the upscale The Havana venue, drew prominent guests from Nigeria and beyond, including Teni, Adekunle Gold, Zlatan Ibile, and several industry figures.
Reports indicated that the couple imposed a strict black-tie dress code, banning guests from wearing white or cream to ensure Chioma stood out as the bride.
However, some notable absences sparked discussion. Cubana Chief Priest, along with Chioma’s parents, were unable to attend due to reported visa challenges.
The day was marked by both glamour and emotion, with Davido visibly moved during the ceremony as he exchanged vows with Chioma.
The Miami wedding follows the couple’s traditional wedding earlier in Lagos in June 2024, a subsequent court wedding and now adds another chapter to their celebrated love story.
