Deputy EXIM Bank CEO Resigns For New Job

Cynthia Pamela Addo

Deputy acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Export and Import (EXIM) Bank, Cynthia Pamela Addo, has resigned her post.

A statement issued by Head of Corporate Affairs at EXIM Bank, Richard Osei Anane, said Ms Addo resigned in order to take up a new position at the Judicial Service.

The statement, which was issued on behalf of management of the bank, said her new appointment was made by President Akufo-Addo.

It said, “The Board and management of the bank are proud of Ms Cynthia Pamela Addo’s contributions to the bank, and would want to use this occasion to wish her the best in her new appointment.”

DAILY GUIDE gathered that Pamela Addo, in a letter dated September 25, 2018 and addressed to the Board of the bank, indicated that the President had appointed her as the Judicial Secretary.

She was in charge of Finance and Administration at the bank.

Ms Addo described the President’s offer as a privilege and resigned last Friday.

She holds LL.B (Hons) and LL.M both from the University of London.

She was called to the Bar in England in 1989 as a member of the Lincoln’s Inn.

Ms Addo was subsequently called to the Bar in Ghana in 1997 when she relocated from the United Kingdom (UK).
