Diana AsamoahÂ
Renowned gospel musician, Diana Asamoah, has called on Ghanaians, particularly supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to remain steadfast in their faith in God, following the partyâs loss in the 2024 general election.
Speaking during an interview on Angel FM, Diana Asamoah expressed her unwavering faith despite the NPPâs defeat, urging party members to adopt a similar mindset.
âIf you win or lose the election, try as much as possible to put your trust in God. By His grace, nothing will shake us because itâs still possible, and itâs still NPP. All I want to tell you this morning is to put your trust in God,â she stated.
She shared her resilience, adding, âAnytime I lost, I became stronger because I knew that God is not a one-way being.â
Addressing members of the victorious National Democratic Congress (NDC), Diana Asamoah advised them to focus on hard work rather than relying solely on their partyâs success.
âI also want to tell those whose party is in power to put their hope in Christ and work hard. If you put all your trust in your party, you will remain inactive, and before you know it, youâll find yourself in opposition,â she noted.
The gospel musician emphasised that true blessings come from Godâs favour, regardless of political affiliation.
âA government can be in power, but without the grace of God, you wonât receive the favour of men. However, when Godâs favour is upon you, you will receive His mercy. As long as we are alive, we will eat from both sides,â she added.
