Diminutive Actors Take Over Movie Industry?

Joe Shortingo, Kompani Dabo and Don Little

Being short is not a disability, as diminutive Ghanaian actors have proven that with their craft on the silver-screens, winning the hearts of many followers.

In recent times, they have become the centre of attraction and attention for the movie industry.

Movie industry sources have told NEWS-ONE that the diminutive actors are in hot demand.

A group photograph which captured some of them has gone viral on social media earlier this week, and it has been generating a lot of interest out there for days.

In the photograph are Joe Shortingo, Kompani Mohammed, Yaw Dabo and Don Little.

The shot is believed to have been taken from the set of an upcoming movie which features all of them.

Major comments that followed the photograph had to deal with their heights, and Don Little turned out to be the most unique figure in that regard.

The photograph has sparked interesting conversations at different levels of the society, including whether the increase in the diminutive actors would help bring back the lost glory of the movie industry.

Until recently, the most popular diminutive actors in Africa were two Nigerian actors— Aki & Pawpaw— but now, the rise in many diminutive actors in Ghana have leveraged on that.
