DJ Armani Quits Citi FM

DJ Armani

One of Citi FM’s finest radio presenters, DJ Armani, has left the station after 11 years, according to Citi FM reports.

DJ Armani, real name Fouad Christopher Wulff-Cochrane, was best known for his stint on his evening urban music show, Rhythms In The Citi.

He joined Citi FM in May 2008 after two years at Accra-based Choice FM.

During that time, he built up his brand as one of Ghana’s leading disc jockeys.

DJ Armani also spent three years at Uniiq FM in Accra.

He has degrees from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana and the University of Ghana Business School, where he earned a Master’s degree in Marketing.

DJ Mingle would be taking over the hosting of Rhythms In The Citi.

The former Live FM DJ hosted Friday Fiesta on Fridays.

Rhythms In The Citi airs on Citi FM on Mondays (7:00pm to 10pm), Tuesdays (8:00pm-10:00pm) and Thursdays (8:00pm-10:00pm).

DJ Mingle is also on The Slam Jam on Saturdays.

It’s currently unknown what caused his exit from Citi FM, but it is happening at a time when some radio and TV presenters are leaving their stations over low remuneration.
