The search for the next Miss Ghana began on Saturday as young women from across the country gathered at the Oak Plaza Hotel in Accra for the 2026 auditions.

The contestants, all hoping to secure a place in this year’s competition, impressed the judges with their confidence, intelligence and talents. While many answered questions confidently, others showcased their abilities through singing, dancing and acting.

Some contestants, however, struggled with nerves during the interviews, making it difficult to express themselves.

Organisers, Exclusive Events Ghana, are looking for a queen who is beautiful, intelligent, disciplined and passionate about serving society.

The winner will represent Ghana at the Miss World pageant and lead charity initiatives through the Miss Ghana Foundation.

This year’s pageant is themed “Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy,” reflecting Miss Ghana’s commitment to empowering young women and promoting positive social change.

The auditions were judged by veteran broadcaster and actress Akumaa Mama Zimbi; legal practitioner and Miss Ghana 2004, Inna Mariam Patty; media personality and actress Stacy Amoateng;  musician Okyeame Kwame and broadcaster Kafui Dey.
