Dr. Kum Krampah I, Others Honoured At Ghana Leadership Awards

HER ROYAL Majesty (HRM) Dr. Nana Kum Krampah I, Benkumhene of Enyan Denkyira in the Akyeapen Division in the Central Region, has been honoured at the 2022 edition of the Ghana Leadership Award.

The award, held on Saturday, 17th December, 2022, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, was themed “Ghana’s Progress: What Is The Way Forward?”

Dr. Nana Kum Krampah I was awarded two honours as the Most Admired Queen Mother and Outstanding Woman of the Year for her extraordinary effort in supporting humanity and the vulnerable in society.

Businessman and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, was honoured with the Integrity and Executive Leadership award for his enormous contribution to Ghana’s economy.

Inspector General of Police George Akuffo Dampare was also honoured with the Law Enforcement Award and the National Award for Outstanding Performance in the area of Security and Services for Humanity.

Other award winners included Albert Acolatse, Dr. Frank Serebour, Prof. Richard Asiedu, Aewura-djoa, Afronitaa, Jackeline Mensah, Endurance Grand, Hon. Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Beatrice Senadju and Dr. Kofi John Mensah.

The award ceremony was under the chairmanship of His Royal Majesty (HRM) Osabarima Kwasi Atta II, Paramount Chief of Cape Coast.

Osabarima Kwasi Atta II, in his address, called on the government to tackle the issue of corrupt practices involving both private and public institutions in the country.

He further admonished the government to invest more in education, health, and infrastructure, particularly roads, agriculture, industry, and security services to improve the living conditions of the citizenry.

The Ghana Leadership Awards is an annual event that acknowledges and celebrates outstanding and exemplary leaders that has a significant and positive impact in advancing Ghana and Africa.
