GHANAIAN COMEDIAN, Dr. Likee, led a moving, one-minute silence and tribute to his late crew member, Bright Owusu (C-Confion).
During his sold-out “Dr. Likee Live” comedy and music show at the Indigo at The O2 in London, he asked the audience to raise their phone lights in his honour.
The emotional tribute drew an outpouring of respect on social media, with fans and community members praising Dr. Likee’s continued dedication to his team.
Dr. Likee turned London into mini Ghana last Saturday night after selling out the 2,700-capacity O2 Indigo with comedy, music, and stage plays. The sold-out event featured performances and support from prominent Ghanaian stars, including Nana Ama McBrown, Akrobeto, and Papa Kumasi.
Afrodancehall pioneer Stonebwoy made a surprise appearance at Dr. Likee’s “Dr. Likee Live at the O2 Indigo” show, surprising and exciting both the comedian and the audience with his unexpected presence. Stonebwoy signed off at “Dr. Likee Live” with Akrobeto’s iconic dance moves, joined on stage by the legend himself at Indigo at The O2, London.
O’Kenneth killed it at Dr. Likee’s O2 Indigo comedy show, performing some of his hit songs including, ‘Balenciaga’, ‘Pain III’, ‘Yimayɛ’, ‘Akatafoc’ and ‘Ma Drip’ among others.
Some fans took to social media to applaud Dr. Likee following his successful comedy show. Shadrack Amonoo Crabe wrote, “DR. LIKEE is Killing It At the Indigo O2! The Auditorium is Packed! And It’s Filled With Laughter!! This guy just Raised Ghana Comedy to another Level!! This is Huge!! Congratulations to Him!!”
