This year’s maiden edition of Easter in Aflao Festival organized by West Empire Corporation was launched at the Aflao-Makavo Hotel in the Volta Region.
The launching brought together several event organizers, celebrities and personalities in showbiz. It also unveiled the Easter in Aflao Logo and other customized materials to be used for the event.
Addressing the media at the launch, Chief Executive Officer, West Empire Corporation, Bright Nukunu, said the festival was poised to bring together youths, both home and abroad, and also foreigners who wanted to experience the festival in Aflao style.
He said, “We have set aside a couple of activities that will strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols during the festive period—tour, art exhibitions, fun games, an exhibition of made in Ghana goods and a talent night show.
Mr. Nukunu later appealed to the media to support the initiatives to promote the culture and lifestyle of the people of Volta through this festival.
“We are calling on media house and corporate institutions, both public and private to support the event when introduced to enable the organizers to achieve the aim and objective of this event,” he said.
