EC Goes On Xmas Break Amid NDC’s Agitations

The Electoral Commission (EC) says it will break for the Christmas and New Year on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

According to a memo dated December 21, 2020 and signed by its Deputy Chairman in charge of Corporate Services, Bossman Asare, the EC said it will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 2020.

The announcement comes as the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) continue to run haywire over the December 7, 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections elections.

The NDC has resulted the elections results, saying they were flawed.

But the EC in its memo addressed to all its staff said once again that the elections this year were “successful” and “peaceful.”
