THE MINISTRY of Education has issued a disclaimer about an ongoing recruitment exercise in the education sector which is reportedly being advertised on social media.
In a statement issued by its Head of Public Relations, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Ministry stated unequivocally that “these advertisements are fake.”
According to the statement, “the ministry is currently not recruiting as indicated in the advertisements.”
Thus, it has urged the general public to disregard such advertisements and “be wary of fraudsters who may seek to take advantage of unsuspecting persons for monetary purposes.”
It concluded that “the general public is further invited to note that any future recruitment exercises will be communicated through officially approved channels.”
