The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Effia in the Western Region is leaving no stone unturned to help prepare final year Junior High School (JHS) students in the area for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
To this end, the MP, Isaac Boamah-Nyarko has donated an amount of GH¢27,700 to the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Education Office to cover the mock examination fees for over 1,200 final year JHS students in the constituency.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Boamah-Nyarko noted that most of his initiatives are geared towards improving quality of education in the area.
He mentioned that the payment of the fees was aimed at helping to prepare the children very well for the examination.
“I also supported the children’s mock examination in the year 2024,” he disclosed.
He thanked the head teachers and teachers of the various schools for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the educational development of the children.
He said, “Your dedication is truly commendable. To all the candidates, I wish you the very best as you embark on these mock examinations.”

“I am confident that with hard work and determination, you will excel and make your constituency proud,” the MP pointed out.
Madam Gloria Biney-Donkor, Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Education Director, praised the MP for all his efforts towards improving the quality of education in the area.
In a related development, Mr. Boamah-Nyarko has commended Aseda Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in the constituency, focused on empowering young people through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), for their impactful programmes over the years.
According to him, the organisation has provided valuable training to the youth in the area in various artisanal skills.
The MP stated this in a brief remarks at a workshop organised by Aseda Foundation, which brought together artisanal shop owners in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
It was aimed to help the participants familiarise themselves with Aseda Foundation’s operations among others.
He encouraged workers of Aseda Foundation to continue to expand their frontiers.
He appreciated the masters of the shops for their dedication and contributions to the programmes’ success.
He also expressed gratitude to the people for voting for him to represent them in the country’s legislative assembly during the last general election.
