Business organisations and entrepreneurs have been urged to invest in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects to empower communities that support their operations.

The Founder and CEO of 360 Network, Nyamedze Demay, who disclosed this when she organised a party for children at the Nyamedua Children’s Home at Adenta, said organisations and businesses should  be partners in nation- building in order to achieve the socio- economic development of the country.

She said various programmes and activities that are undertaken by organisations if aligned and developed coherently, could relieve the government of the burden of undertaking certain activities in some parts of the country with the country’s meagre resources.

She said, “When we sow our seeds, it may lead to some of the projects that directly impact the lives of the people and promote their livelihood to be fixed with the support of Corporate Ghana through their CSR funds.”

She said sowing seeds as a corporate organisation will not only impact lives directly, but also go a long way to improve the livelihood of people and communities.

She further mentioned that her outfit has often focused on skills training to enable people, especially young ones, to acquire skills that would help them fit well into industry after school.

The CEO, who has worked as a media practitioner for over three decades in some renowned media organisations, is also an author who has influenced talents with her work in diverse ways.
