Ethiopians are going to the polls today to cast their ballots.
Last week, Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, indicated that the elections are proof of his commitment to democracy.
According to him, the national and regional vote would be the “first attempt at free and fair elections” in Ethiopia.
Ethiopia has a population of over 100 million people.
