Captain of the Ghana Chinese Golf Association, Wang Shu, expects the best form of golfing when the Celebrity Golf Club hosts this year’s Ghana-China Friendship Golf Invitational, which is scheduled for September 28.
The 18-hole event is in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Wang Shu said, “All is set for the competition which seeks to deepen the already healthy relationship between Ghana and China.
Sports and golf in particular has served as a useful platform to foster healthy friendship between these two countries.
“Previous China anniversary competitions have succeeded in taking the friendship between the two countries a notch higher.
We are expecting a great Ghana-China golf competition, and we believe we will put together a tournament befitting a 70th anniversary celebration.”
