Sulley Muntari
Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari last Sunday left the Accra Stadium disappointed not because his new side Hearts of Oak failed to defeat perennial rivals Asante Kotoko, but because a fan made away with his expensive cellular iPhone.
The telecommunication gadget was stolen while he was taking photos with some fans after the Super Clash with Kotoko.
Hearts’ Public Relations Officer (PRO), Kwame Opare Addo confirmed the unfortunate incident on Asempa FM.
The former Inter Milan and AC Milan man was handed a starting spot and lasted for an hour as the Phobians were held to a goalless draw by Kotoko at the Accra Stadium.
The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner was mobbed by some fans outside the stadium where it is believed the fan picked the phone.
