Fancy Gadam
A Tamale-based afro-beat and dancehall artiste, Ahmed Mujahid Bello, known on the music scene as Fancy Gadam, will on Saturday, November 27 host a musical concert at the Tamale Sports Stadium to entertain his fans in and around Tamale.
Fancy Gadam, who is one of the most sought-after performers in the Northern part of the country, will be performing to over 15,000 thousands music fans who will make their way to the venue.
The concert is being organised by the artiste to promote his latest released Extended Play (EP) titled ‘One Don’ as well as bring his fans together on one platform to celebrate his achievement on the music scene.
Fancy Gadam, who is expected to set the venue on fire with his back to back hiplife, hiphop and dancehall hit songs, will rock the stage alongside some selected artistes.
He is expected to thrill fans with songs like Turn Up, Concrete, Bie Gya, Naayo Koomi, We Dey Collect, Naawuni Yiko as well as the songs on his newly released EP.
There will also be other surprise guest artistes who will also mount the stage to thrill fans.
Fancy Gadam, who recently dropped the Nobody track on the EP, has received massive airplay across the country; topping musical charts on both streaming platforms and entertainment shows.
He told GNA Entertainment ahead of the concert, that he wanted to use the concert to re-announce himself as one of Ghana’s talented stage performers.
“I want to use this concert to showcase my powerful stagecraft so Ghanaians should expect the best from the night. After the concert, I am going to tour the 16 regions with the EP because I know I have massive support from all over the country.
“After dropping ‘Nobody’ single, people that had lost interest in listening to my music have regained interest and are beginning to appreciate my craft once again,” he said.
The award-winning artiste has numerous hit singles to his credit including Total Cheat, Formular, Ma Baby, among others.
He has worked and performed on a number of local platforms alongside a number of celebrated Ghanaian artistes like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Tinny, Nii Funny and a host of others.
Fancy Gadam has five albums namely Kalipo, Ashili, Nawuni, Yiko, Takahi and Mujahid to his credit.
On December 1, 2017, Fancy Gadam was one of the best performing artistes at the S Concert.
His sterling performance on the night saw his fans entertained till the early hours of Saturday, the 2nd day of December 2017.
He has won a number of awards which include VGMA New Artiste of the Year 2017, Hiplife Artiste of the Year 2018 among others.
