The late Ibrahim Adam
A former Minister of Agriculture in the Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings’ regime, Ibrahim Adam, passed on yesterday in Accra.
His remains were yesterday flown to Tamale from the Air Force Base, Accra for interment.
He was the Member of Parliament for the Choggo/Tishigu Constituency in the Northern Region between January 1997 and January 2001.
An animal scientist by profession, he was elected to represent the Choggo/Tishigu Constituency in the 2nd Parliament of the 4th Republic on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ibrahim lost his seat to Alhaji Abubakari Sumani in the subsequent elections of 2000.
He has since been interred.
