Hospitals in the country will be beneficiaries of additional incubators courtesy of the KGL Foundation.

Kwami Sefa-Kayi has on behalf of Kokrokoo Charities Project received a cheque from Elliot Dadey, CEO of KGL Foundation, for the acquisition of ten incubators for distribution to hospitals across the country.

The provision of the lifesaving gadgets is the outcome of a partnership between the foundation and the Kokrokoo Charities project.

The Kokrokoo Charities Foundation is committed to acquiring and distributing incubators across the country.

Mr. Dadey said the first tranche of a pledge by KGL Foundation has been delivered for distribution already.

The presentation, he added, is a fulfillment of a pledge and constitutes a component of efforts to establish a long-term partnership with the Kokrokoo Charities Foundation on the Project 100 incubators to improve healthcare delivery.

Mr. Sefa-Kayi, who is a popular broadcaster, acknowledged the gesture, and corroborated the shared mission of the project to make a positive impact on society by improving healthcare delivery.

The gesture is aligned to the KGL Group’s core tenet of social accountability and responsibility across all facets of its subsidiary operations.

The board and management of the KGL Group through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) wing, KGL Foundation, has made overtures to foster mutual relations with established charity organisations across the country.

KGL Foundation, management pointed out, “remains passionate about working closely with established organisations across Ghana to improve the quality of lives through appropriate and sustainable corporate social responsibility interventions with a special focus on providing care, protection, and support systems for the underprivileged and vulnerable in society.”

KGL Foundation will facilitate strategic partnerships and collaboration with charitable organisations into healthcare, sports, environment, tourism, and education among others across ideation and resourcing to achieve mutual objectives, management has given assurance.

The KGL Foundation was set up as a single-purpose vehicle to drive all corporate social responsibility activities of the KGL Group following international standards and best practices.
