Simons Sekyim
The Municipal Chief Executive for the Ga North Municipal Assembly, Simons Sekyim, has been recognised by the International Institute for Governance and Development (IIGD) for his exceptional leadership and innovation.
Presenting the award on Thursday, June 16, 2020, the IIGD praised Simons Sekyim for the positive impact he has made on his community through his sterling leadership and commitment to serve his people.
The MCE is one of the four Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to be recognised for their contributions.
Dubbed IIGD Global 3000, Simons Sekyim was humbled by the recognition. He expressed his profound gratitude for the honour done him, and stated that this is only a reminder for him to do more for his people, and work hard to make the expected change in the lives of the people and the community.
