Members of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) has called on the management of Kofikrom Pharmacy Ltd in Accra.
Led by its president Charles Osei Asibey, the team made the courtesy call to present the 22 medals and the silver trophy they won in the recently-held African Arm wrestling championship in Lagos, Nigeria.
Also, the team was at the pharmaceutical company’s South La offices to express thanks for the financial backing they received ahead of the tournament.
Osei Asibey in a short remark said “We are here today to share our joy with you and to thank you so very much for supporting us financially. We couldn’t have made the trip without your push.”
Managing Director of Kofikrom Pharmacy Limited, Kofi Addo-Agyekum, praised the team for the honours done Ghana and to themselves saying , ” …first competition and you return with 22 medals? This is beyond comprehension.”
He pledged his outfit’s continued support for the Federation particularly as Ghana prepares to host next year’s edition.
President of the Federation made an appeal to offer members of the team the platform to serve as brand ambassadors, which the leadership of the fast growing pharmaceutical firm obliged to.
