Otumfuo Osei Tutu II
The proposed Otumfuo Lottery has been given a lifeline, as Frank Adjei, a Kumasi-based businessman and founder of the National Association of Private Lotto Operators and Agents in Ghana, has thrown his weight behind it.
He is leading the association to ensure the success of the initiative of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to raise funds for the Otumfuo Charity Foundation.
Players in the industry have predicted that with the support of the leader of the largest association of private lotto operators and agents in the country, the project would be successful.
It is envisaged that the Otumfuo Lottery would rake in substantial revenue for the development of Asanteman and Ghana in general to create jobs for the youth, among others.
It’s for this reason that Mr Adjei and the association are supporting the project, which entails the launching, distribution, marketing and selling of the scratch cards, as well as participating in the Number Game and Raffles in line with the terms and conditions of the Otumfuo Lottery Game.
The association, under the leadership of Mr. Adjei, would serve as the backbone of the Otumfuo Lottery as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Asanteman and Ghana in general.
The association commended Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, the Director-General and NLA for the initiative.
