Organisers of the Ghana Business Awards (GBA) have honoured Papaye Fast Foods Limited for its immense contribution toward the development of fast food trade in the country.

The event, held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, honoured over 20 individuals and organisations with plaques and citation at the awards ceremony.

Papaye, which has been in business for over two decades, won the Fast Food Company of the Year Award.

Several distinguished personalities from the various sectors of the economy and some corporate institutions were honoured for their outstanding achievements.

The Chief Executive Officer of Papaye, Divine Asiedu, who received the award on behalf of his company, thanked the organisers for the honour done Papaye and gave an assurance that the company would continue to work tirelessly to produce good food to feed millions across the country.

He told BEATWAVES in an interview that his company felt humbled by the recognition.

“It is gratifying to note that Papaye’s quality service has been rewarded over the years. We have received a number of awards from institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana Tourist Board, Ghana Trade Fair Company and a host of others,” he added.

The CEO commended the organisers for instituting an award scheme to motivate hardworking entrepreneurs to strive for professional excellence and service.

Papaye, last Friday, won Fast Food Company of the Year Award at the National Tourism Awards held in Accra.
