The funeral ceremony for the late George Floyd was held In Houston, US on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral service, which heard calls for an end to racism.
Floyd was killed by a former white police officer Derek Michael Chauvin on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis.
“We honor him today because when he took his last breath, the rest of us will now be able to breathe,” Mayor Sylvester Turner of Houston said during a final service for Floyd, 46, who grew up in Houston.
