Ghanaian Artistes Are Ingrates – Bullet

Bullet

Renowned manager of Ebony Reigns and a member of Ruff & Smooth duo, Bullet, born Ricky Nana Agyemang, has stated that musicians are the problem hindering the progress of Ghana’s music industry.

He disclosed that they are ingrates, and he didn’t single anyone out.

Bullet said all of them are ungrateful people, citing an example of how young artistes are so respectful from the beginning of their careers but later “grow horns” and turn their backs on the very people who made when they become popular.

“The problem of Ghana’s music industry is not about investors, managers or producers, I think the problem in the music industry is that Ghanaian artistes are ungrateful. Yes I know what I am talking about,” he said.

Bullet made the comment while he was advising new artistes at a media event held at the Airport Premiere Apartment last Sunday to launch the collaboration between Ruff Town Records and MIDAS Touch, the music labels behind Ebony Reigns.

The ceremony was to also officially unveil three new artistes on their record labels Brella, Ms Forson and Danny Beatz. Danny Beatz doubles as a musician and producer, and he is expected to produce the artistes.

But interestingly, Ebony didn’t show up at the ceremony, sparking rumours that they could be having problems with her.

But both Ruff Town Records and MIDAS Touch labels denied that there is a problem. They explained that she didn’t show up because she was sick.

However, Bullet advised the new artistes on their labels not to be ingrate like the current crop of musicians when they “become big” and charged the media to be his witness.
