Ghanaian Doc Takes Issues With Vaccine Approach

A medical officer has taken issues with one of the DAILY GUIDEā€™s editorial on vaccines.

In an enlightening piece, Dr. Samuel Ofori Onwona recalled how last month one of the finest Ghanaian Medical Doctors of international renown, Prof. Konotey Ahulu, a geneticist at Cromwell Hospital, on Harley Street, challenged the narrative of the popular news media.

The said article, he pointed out, cast serious doubts on the efficacy of the mRNA vaccines. He made a case for the Prophylactic regime which is being used in Ghana and elsewhere to treat COVID-19 patients.

He said, ā€œThere is ample empirical evidence to suggest that this is rushed and dangerous. As a World Bank staff, I am aware of the delivery protocols for vaccine production.

Continuing, he stated that ā€œI am also aware about the falsified trial results of HCQ that were published in the Lancet and BMJ. They administered the trial subjects with 1000mg daily for two weeks instead of the prescribed 200mg fortnightly. They lied to the scientific community by falsifying the trials to justify the false hypothesis.ā€

Dr. Onwona was a member of the 25 member Economic Management team that the Honourable Minister of Finance set up to advice the government on the policy options for dealing with COVID-19 crisis under the lockdown.

In all our clips and messages, he stressed, ā€œWe have advocated strongly for the Prophylactic approach because it is more cost effective and less risky with regard to potential side effects including irreversible neurological damage and in extreme cases death.

ā€œI have done five live broadcasts in Twi with Topical Radio based in Germany where my strongest point was the Prophylactic treatment because we know coronaviruses mutate easily and so the vaccine route is ineffective,ā€ he explained, adding, ā€œ A vaccination against strain A for instance does not provide immunity against strain B for instance.ā€ Already, there are 19 known strains of COVID-19 hybrid virus of SARS 2 and HIV, and as he puts it ā€œsimple common sense shows that the vaccine approach is not cost effective and very risky.

ā€œThose who have taken pains to educate themselves well about the issue can see through the propaganda that BIG PHARMA is using to bulldoze their way to mess up Africans with their poisonous vaccines,ā€ Dr. Onwona stated.

In any case, time will tell if we are wrong or right in sounding an alarm about this COVID-19 pandemic.
