Music producer Hamza Adams, affectionately called Blow, in collaboration with the Starbiz Productions, yesterday announced plans of organizing a major musical concert dubbed “International Peace Concert” in three of the West African Countries, Ghana, Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire later this year.
Hamza Adam, who is also event organizer and artiste manager, said the concert is aimed at sensitizing Africans on the need to appreciate the peace and stability being enjoyed by the people.
According to him, it is also being organized to educate the people on the need to desist from acts that seek to undermine the peace.
There will be peace messages from various African leaders, representatives from United Nations and some selected individuals.
Before the peace concert, the organizers will release a musical compilation album titled All Star peace song and video to promote the event.
The peace song and its video will be made available on YouTube and online music sites.
The ‘International Peace Concert’, will feature a large number of performing artistes from all the three countries who will thrill patrons with their various hit songs.
“We want to use this concert to preach and educate our people about the importance of peace”, the organizers said.
