‘Ghanaian Rappers Have Become Boring’

Gemini Orleans

Rapper Gemini Orleans has announced that his new single, ‘Change Your Style,’ will be released on August 16, with a message asking Ghanaian rappers to “sit up”.

The rapper’s single comes off his upcoming album scheduled for October 2019.

The announcement of the new song comes as a reminder to followers of rap music that the hip-hop artiste still remains a force to reckon with on the rap scene.

Gemini, who is famous for his tongue-twisting rap style, said on Thursday that the new single is aimed at addressing some issues in the rap scene.

This, he stated, includes how most Ghanaian rappers have become “boring.”

“It’s self-explanatory when they listen. These rappers are getting boring and need to change their style basically,” he told NEWS-ONE.

According to him, the song is targeted at some lazy self-acclaimed rappers in Ghana who need to sit up.

Born Victor Mawuli Orleans-Fiaka, Gemini believes it is high time rappers in the country elevated their game in order to remain competitive on the global front.

“Most rappers in Ghana seriously need to up their game because their rap lines lack content and that is the message of the song, they need to change their style, it is becoming too boring,” he reiterated.

He added that there will be a possible remix of ‘Change Your Style’ with Strongman, Shaker, Tulenkey and Txt.

The song is available for pre-orders on all music digital stores.
