GMA-USA Appoints 4 New Board Members

The organisers of the Ghana Music Awards USA (GMA-USA) have appointed four new board members to help strengthen the organisation’s commitment to excellence.

The appointees include Mr. Bills Gborgli (Papa Bills), a renowned radio disc jockey (DJ) and producer, as Ghana Representative.

With his years of experience in Ghana’s entertainment industry, Papa Bills will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships, expanding the organisation’s presence, and ensuring that GMA-USA remains a leading platform for showcasing Ghanaian talent on the world stage.

Sound Engineer, Prince Nana Poku, known in the music scene as Ashes, was appointed as Communications Director (Ghana).

His role, according to GMA-USA, will be crucial in shaping and executing communication strategies to enhance engagement with artistes, stakeholders, and fans in Ghana.

Nana Poku’s expertise is expected to contribute significantly to elevating the profile of GMA-USA.

With a proven track record in production management, Mr. Isaac Obuobi was appointed as the Head of Production to share his deep understanding of live events to enhance the award scheme.

Ghanaian blogger, Mr. Eugene Osafo-Nkansah (Nkonkonsa) received appointment as the official blogger for the awards scheme.

Eugene Osafo-Nkansah is expected to be the voice behind the scenes, providing exclusive insights into the world of GMA-USA.

The appointees will work with existing members of the board: Mr. Paul Ofori-Asenso, Mrs. Mavis Mensah, and Ms. Jemima Hagan to serve in their current positions as Head of Security, Head of Protocol, and Executive Board Secretary, respectively.

Chief Operating Officer, Kusi Mensah indicated that the new appointees have assured management of their unwavering commitment to contribute significantly to the development of the awards scheme.
