The Ministry of Finance has clarified that Government has not suspended recruitment into state security agencies.
A letter circulating in the media and purportedly signed by the Finance Minister, indicated that President Nana Akufo-Addo has through the Ministry of Finance places a hold on recruitment in the State Security Institutions.
But in response, the Finance Ministry in a press statement dated April 27, 2021, noted that “the said letter is fake and should be disregarded.”
