Guide Radio’s 1UP Artiste Moliy Drops ‘Déjà vu’

GUIDE RADIO’S 1UP artiste of the month of July, Moliy, has released her first single of the year, ‘Déjà Vu.’

The song is an afrobeat warning about the problems that come with trying to be in a relationship in modern times, and over the MikeMillzOnEm produced beat, Moliy softly and playfully sings about a date gone wrong.

The Ghanaian singer/songwriter is a versatile afro fusion artiste whose music caught on during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020.

With her girl next door look, soft sweet voice and ability to make music that sticks with you for days, Moliy began her steady growth with a six-track EP, ‘Wonder Girl’, which has songs going beyond Ghana charts into Kenya and The Gambia.

Moliy has since gone on to perform for MTV Base and scored features on Amaarae’s ‘Feel A Way’, ‘Sad Girlz Love Money’ and Manifest’s ‘No Fear’ featuring Vic Mensa.

As part of Guide Radio’s commitment to contributing to incredibly talented young artistes’ growth through the 1UP Artiste of the Month Initiative, Moliy, the 1UP artiste of the month of July, has been highlighted through the month on radio and via engaging content on social media.

The singer has also exclusively announced her next project will be titled ‘Honey Doom’ on Guide Radio’s drive time show with the host, Moor Sound.
