Her single, ‘My Mind Dey For You’ is the most talked about song as it got the globe following her star trail.

She is regarded as the next big female act to come out of Ghana with her talent making way for her onto the global music market.

Born, Jacqueline Acheampong, Gyakie’s rise to fame has not come as a surprise to anyone as she is adored by all and sundry. She is also the most streamed Ghanaian artiste in Nigeria in 2021.

A few days ago, she was listed among ten top afrobeat artistes in Africa on the Pandora music chart.

Gyakie took the seventh position on the music chart with a total stream of 8.76k on Pandora.

She is a recipient of several accolades including Best Female MVCP Viewer’s Choice Awards 2021 and the African Artistes of the Year at the Sound City MVCP Awards 2020.

Gyakie, who jumped to stardom after her hit single Forever from her ‘Seed’ EP album, has plans of collaborating with her father, legendary Ernest Nana Acheampong, on some of her upcoming songs.

She topped music charts such as Billboard’s Top Triller Global and Shazams Top 200 charts this year.

Gyakie released a remix of ‘Forever’ with Nigerian singer Omah Lay in March 2021.

Early this year, she signed an international record deal with Sony Music, RCA Records UK and Sony Music Africa due to her creativity and track record on the local music scene.

The deal will ensure that all musical works of Gyakie are promoted on various international musical platforms.

She has worked with almost all the top Ghanaian talents in the music scene, and backed more than 100 hit songs.
