Gyakie’s EP Hits 11 Million Streams

Afro-Fusion singer and songwriter, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie has hit 11 Million streams on her debut EP “Seed” across all music platforms.

The singer was charted on the Billboard thriller chart. She hit a million streams on Boomplay, and becomes the most followed Ghanaian female artist on Audiomack, and now surpasses 11 million streams.

The debut ‘Seed EP’ was released on 7th August 2020 with 5- songs and has enjoyed more airplay recently.

The Seed EP contains songs like forever, joy& happiness, Journey, vacation, and Whine.

Gyakie took to her Twitter page to express gratitude to her followers around the globe for the unconditional love they’ve shown her throughout the journey as a singer.

She wrote: “God bless you all. Thanks for being my sunshine. The SEED is growing rapidly @FLIPHEMUSIC.
Gyakie recently refuted allegations that her father’s connection in the music scene has launched her into the limelight.

The singer who reacted to the claims stated, “I have become a household name because of my hard work and not my connections but it is all as a result of my dedication and hard work on my part and that of my managers”.
She also noted that even though she is inspired by her father, consistency, and her conscious effort to write and record quality music has made her a force to reckon with.

Gyakie is the daughter of Nana Acheampong, a famous Highlife musician, and grew up in a musical home.
