Ghana’s Ambassador to the US on Monday hosted some of her compatriots resident in the country at her residence.
Hajia Alima Mahama was especially excited about meeting her old student Dr. Muniratu Alhassan whom she taught at the then Tamale Secondary School now Tamale Senior High School or Tamasco when she did her National Service.
The old Tamascans recalled their good old days in Tamale.Dr. Muniratu was a regular face at the ambassador’s house at the time she taught at the school.
Now both of them are in the US performing different functions. While Dr. Muniratu Alhassan is a Nurse Practitioner, her former teacher is Ghana’s Ambassador to the US.
Hajia Alima Mahama taught English at Tamasco when she did her National Service upon her completion of the Law School.
