Headless Boy’s Body Found

Alex Tetteh, the suspected killer

The rest of the body of the 12-year old boy, Ebenezer Tetteh who was beheaded at Bogoso in the Prestea Huni Valley District of the Western Region, last Tuesday, has been found.

According to some of the residents, the body was found by the roadside at Baakoyemobor on the Bogoso -Tarkwa road, where the boy lived with his parents.

They indicated that the decomposed body in a school uniform was lying behind some packed blocks in a cassava farm with a school bag at the back.

The residents told journalists that the body was found by a search party organized yesterday afternoon with permission from the Bogoso police.

Some of the people who were at the scene to look at the body could not hide their tears.

Meanwhile, a police source has told DAILY GUIDE that the 23-year-old suspect is refusing to name his accomplices.

He also refused to let the police know where he hid or buried the rest of the body of the 12 year- old boy whose head he allegedly severed.

The paper also learnt that the Western Regional Police Command has taken over investigations into the case and that the suspect is yet to be processed for court.

It was gathered that the father of the victim who saw the picture of the severed head of his son on social media, has finally identified the decapitated head as that of his son at Effia Nkwanta Hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, no family member of the suspect had shown up at the police station since he was arrested.

It would be recalled that the Western Regional Police arrested a 23-year-old man on Tuesday for allegedly being in possession of a fresh human head of a 12-year-old Class Six pupil of Grace International School at Bogoso in the region.

The suspect, Alex Tetteh, purportedly cut off the head of the pupil, whose name was given as Ebenezer Tetteh, for ritual purposes, apparently to enable him become rich overnight.
