Hearts Coach Samuel Boadu Rushed To Hospital During Match With Sharks

Samuel Boadu, Head Coach of Accra was rushed to the Elmina Government Hospital, during the eighth-week league game between Hearts and Elmina Sharks at Elmina.

The Coach, who was on the lines, during the game complained of dizziness and this got worse in the course of the game.

Health officials at the Stadium had to rush him to the hospital to receive treatment.

Mr. Kwame Opare Addo Public Relations Officer confirmed to the GNA Sports that the coach was currently at the hospital receiving treatment and would state the health condition of the coach after the medical officers’ report.

The coach could not see out the game as his two assistants Hamza Obeng and Nii Noi led Hearts to a 1-0 victory against Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Stadium.

Gladson Awako, in his debut appearance for the Phobians, provided the solitary strike for his side as they recorded their first win of the season after five matches.
This is the second time Boadu was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during an encounter with AshantiGold SC last year.
