High Commissioner Meets HSBS Team

Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Papa Owusu-Ankomah, has met an HSBC investment team and called on them to take advantage of Ghana’s bright investment climate to scale up their investments.

The meeting formed part of the of the High Commission’s efforts to drive foreign investments to Ghana.

HSBC are currently financing road projects in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region and Aburi in the Eastern Region, and have in the past financed the Obetsebi Lamptey Flyover, the Tamale Water Project among others.

The HSBC team was led by Himesh Patel, Head of the Bank’s business in Sub-Saharan Africa and it also included Philip Lewis, Managing Director and Global Head of Export Finance, HSBC.

The Ghana High Commission team included Dodzie Numekevor, Head of Public Affairs and Information, as well as Paakow Bartels, Head of Trade and Investment.
