Hive, the Blockchain-based social media platform, has commissioned its 11th borehole project, providing clean water access to deprived communities in the country.
The initiative, sponsored by the Decentralized Hive Fund (DHF) project recently inaugurated another borehole construction project at Kanvilli Kukuo community in the Northern Region to address the pressing issue of clean water scarcity in rural communities.
According to Hive Ghana Country Representative Samuel Boadi, the construction of the borehole project is a testament to Hive’s commitment to humanitarian efforts.
“The newly established borehole stands as a beacon of hope for the Kanvilli Kukuo community. Its reliable supply of clean water promises to significantly contribute to the health and well-being of the village’s residents, marking a remarkable achievement. This project serves as a living testament to the transformative power of blockchain and web3 technology, offering solutions to real-world challenges” he said.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including the Chief of Kanvilli Kukuo, Dr. Issahaku Rahaman who took a moment to express profound gratitude to Hive for their unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of rural communities.
