‘Hot Sex’ Kills Krachi East MCE

THE LATE Francis Kofi Okesu, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East, in the Oti Region, allegedly, lost his life whilst having a ‘hot sexual’ bout with an unknown lady, who is still at large.

The deceased government official was found motionless in his room at the Harbed House Hotel at Kentinkrono in Kumasi on Sunday, barely 48 hours after he had lodged in the hotel to spend the weekend there.

According to reports, the two lovebirds were having a nice time in bed together when Kofi Okesu, reportedly, collapsed, perhaps due to over excitement or high blood pressure, leading to his untimely demise.

When the unknown lady realised that the MCE had given up the ghost, she became alarmed so she sneaked from the hotel room and vanished into thin air, unconfirmed reports reaching the paper indicated.

Later in the day, the hotel staff and Kofi Okesu’s driver became suspicious when they couldn’t reach him on phone. They then had the shock of their lives when they found Kofi Okesu’s dead body when the hotel room was forced open.

According to unconfirmed reports, the case was reported to the security agents, and when they inspected Kofi Okesu’s body, they found spermatozoa on his thighs, an indication that perhaps he died through sexual bout.

Police Confirms Death

Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed that indeed Kofi Okesu has given up the ghost, indicating that the unfortunate incident happened in a room at the Harbed House Hotel, where he was lodging.

In a press statement signed by ASP Godwin Ahianyo, the Ashanti Regional Police PRO, he said investigations into the unfortunate demise of the MCE was still underway.

“The Ashanti Regional Police Command is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Hon Francis Kofi Okesu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East Municipal Assembly.

“Investigations have so far established that Hon. Francis Kofi Okesu accompanied by his driver checked in at the Harbed House Hotel, Kumasi on September 2, 2022,” the Police PRO disclosed.

He said the MCE was however not seen on September 4, 2022, and all efforts made by both his driver and the hotel authorities to reach him on his phone proved futile.

“His door was therefore forced open and he was found lying motionless on his bed. He was later pronounced dead by a medical officer from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH),” the Police PRO added.

The body of the deceased MCE has since been deposited at the KATH morgue for preservation and autopsy while investigations are underway.
