The SOHO Bar in Accra was where all last weekend’s fun was as comedian DKB and his friends staged the premium monthly comedy show dubbed ‘Comedy Express’ on Friday.
It was, indeed, an exciting night. Patrons were treated to great humour and music. Each of the performers left an impressive mark on patrons.
The fun started with Mr. Eventuary, who was the MC of the night. He delivered nothing less of what was expected of him and also used the opportunity to try his stand-up prowess. His ‘money laughter’ was the climax of each performance to keep the humour going in between the performances.
The main comedians billed for the night brought their A-game on. Khemikal was phenomenal, delivering some amazing jokes. The rest of the comedians were Waris, Ranzy and Idiot James Brown, whose performances attracted uncontrollable laughter and applause from patrons.
DKB was in his usual element when he took his turn on stage, giving the fans a dose of rib-cracking jokes.
“I have great fun,” one of the patrons told NEWS-ONE after the event.
Saturday event had a number of showbiz personalities in attendance.
Among them were Nana Boroo, Epixode, James Gardiner, Elikem Kumodzie, Kalybos, Bismark The Joke and sports presenter Nutifafa.
Patrons left with products from sponsors like Tesori Perfumes, DJ Sparkling Champagne, Rush Energy Drink and Star Biscuit.
‘Comedy Express’ was also supported by K Monsi Bitters and Jumia Foods. The event would now come off every first Friday of every month at the SOHO Bar at the Marina Mall.
