Gospel musician, Emmanuel Abbey has disclosed that he is the only Christian in his entire family but that doesn’t discourage him.
The trained banker has even gone on to also become one of Ghana’s talented gospel acts, songwriters, and also an author.
His recent two singles titled, ‘Onim Me Dada’ and ‘I Cannot Fail’ have been well received by music audiences.
In a statement on Sunday, he explained his journey into Christendom.
According to him, he was born into a family of traditional believers but later the entire family converted to Islam.
“When I was eighteen years old, I converted to Christianity. I am the only Christian in my family and I have been singing as a chorister since my conversion. I desire to touch lives and to draw hearts closer to God through my songs,” he added.
Emmanuel Abbey is gradually becoming a force to be reckoned with in the gospel music scene.
