Socialite turned musician, Mona Faiz Montrage popularly known as Hajia4Real has responded to criticisms about her not exhibiting the best of vocal ability on her songs.

According to her, she doesn’t need just a voice to do music because the voice is not all that is to music.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz program on Saturday night, she explained that music has different components and voice is just one of them.

She believed she has got it all including the voice because people have been telling her that, her voice turns them on when they listen to her music.

“I don’t think you need just voice to do music. You need the voice, you need the flair, you need the swag and I got it. I mean you need it all but it is fine there is nothing wrong with people telling me that I should work on my voice. I am doing that but all I have to say is people are enjoying it,” she stated.

“People even send me DMs to say hey Hajia your voice dey turn me on,” she added.

Mona is a popular Ghanaian socialite, influencer, actress, and songstress.

She announced her journey into the music limelight following the release of her first song titled, “Badda Than” in November 2020 with a high-quality video, followed by “Fine Girl” which reportedly also performed marvelously.

Months later she released another song titled “God’s Child”. She subsequently went on to team up with dancehall act; Shatta Wale on their song titled, “Baby.”

Many music followers thought that she won’t last in the music scene but she seems to be proving them wrong. To the surprise of many, she recently released her first-ever EP titled, “Here To Stay” which features artistes such as Efya and Stonebwoy.
