Salma Mumin
Actress Salma Mumin has vehemently denied allegations suggesting she resorted to ‘juju’ (black magic) to orchestrate the downfall of her friends, Moesha Boduong and Hajia4reall.
In a recent interview on the Delay Show, Salma addressed the accusations head-on, expressing her shock and dismay at the rumours circulating about her supposed involvement in her friends’ misfortunes.
She denied ever visiting any deity or engaging in any such practices. She stressed, “The day I saw such comments, I cried. I asked myself that if I were the one who was caught in an unfortunate situation like Moesha and Hajia4Reall, would people have said the same things about them? I can never do that. It hasn’t crossed my mind.”
Emphasising her faith in God, Salma reiterated that she does not consult any deity and does not believe in taking her friends to shrines to sabotage their lives. She attributed any misfortunes that may have befallen her friends to mere coincidences.
When pressed by Delay about the seemingly coincidental nature of the situations, Salma dismissed the notion, stating, “Too coincidental? That I took two of my closest friends to the shrine to destroy their lives? They were fabricated stories by people online. Everyone can just sit somewhere and fabricate lies.”
Salma also opened up about her friendships, explaining that her upbringing influenced her desire to forge close bonds with others. She revealed, “All my life, I have walked alone.
“I didn’t experience the kind of love usually gotten from siblings because I didn’t live with my parents. I never had a lot of people living with me as a family. So, growing up, when someone shows me little love, I draw them close.”
