Belinda Dzattah and Kweku Elliot
Actress Belinda Dzattah has denied ever dating colleague actor Kweku Elliot, revealing their comments about them dating in a previous interview were just for jokes.
According to her, Kweku is “like a brother” and there was no way they would engage in any amorous act.
In 2019, Joy News quoted the two for saying they were in love.
“Tell them,” said Kweku to Belinda, who asked “should I?” and when she (Belinda) got the nod, she said, “Yeah” as confirmation to a question about if they were dating.
When asked for how long, Kweku responded, “Like six months.”
Kweku added that they were low-key about their relationship because “nobody needs to know our business.”
But in an interview with NEWS-ONE over the weekend, Belinda said, “We were just playing but our interviewer didn’t catch the joke. He is like a brother to me. Please, we are not dating. The media took us too seriously.”
This is the second time the actress is denying any amorous links with any stakeholder in the movie industry.
She earlier rubbished claims that she slept with Roger Quartey, a veteran actor and production manager, in the past.
