IARMA-FEST 2024 Launched

International Afro Music Reggae Arts Heritage & Cultural Festival (IARMA-FEST), scheduled for November 2024, has been officially launched at a colourful ceremony held at Only One Beach in Lomé, Togo.

The pre-launch concert of the three-day event which will kick off from November 2, 2024 was in collaboration with Pan Africa-Ghana and Peace Forever Live Music Club.

The launch attracted a number of personalities including artistes’ managers as well as music stakeholders from some West African countries.

IARMA-FEST, at the ceremony unveiled Alhassan Yawuza, a Ghanaian artistic director, choreographer, composer and a performer based in New York City, USA as an Ambassador for African Indigenous Music and its Instruments.

Artistes who performed at the launch include Stoney OHR99 from Togo, Bobo Ranking from Ghana, and Bobo Delasan from Togo.

Others are Mavis Atiah from Ghana, Kezita Massan  from Togo, Bongofari from Ghana, Ras Menthal from Togo, Jah Stone from Togo and Chef du Village Momo Dologo, also from Togo and a host of others.

According to Elijah Amekudzi, also known as Bobo Ranking, a Pan Africanist and founder of IARMA-FEST, the vision for IARMA-FEST 2024 is to unite humanity with music and other educational activities and beyond.

He revealed that IARMA-FEST 2024 which choose music as a tool to unite humanity, will be working with artistes from Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Gabon.

The artistes will use the platform provided by the event to showcase their countries music and rich culture.

Activities planned for IARMA-FEST 2024 include workshops on creativity, music business sessions and how to network through international music agencies.
