‘Ignore Antagonists Of NLA Fees’

Kofi Osei Ameyaw

THE GHANA National Chamber of Licensed Banker to Banker Lotto Operators and Agents (GNCLBBLOA) has urged its members, the media and the general public, to ignore some unscrupulous individuals who are seeking to kick against the National Lottery Authority’s (NLA) registration and license fees for banker to banker operators.

According to GNCLBBLOA in a statement signed by its Founder, Frank Adjei, “any group of people kicking against the registration and license fees for Banker to Banker Lotto business are  nation wreckers.”

It said “As good citizens of Ghana, we have to do everything possible to support government with our license fees.”

GNCLBBLOA also urged “the Board of NLA, Security Agencies and Government to take action on our petition regarding the arrest of Nigerians, Chinese and other foreign nationals operating lotto in Ghana.”

Support

Meanwhile, the GNCLBBLOA has pledged to support and work with the Lotto Operators, Agents and Writers who are not able to afford the payment of the license fees approved by the Board of the National Lottery Authority.

“The doors of Ghana National Chamber of Licensed Banker to Banker Lotto Operators and Agents under the leadership of Mr Frank Adjei, are open to lotto operators, agents and writers who are ready to work with us due to their inability to pay the license fees approved by the Board of NLA,” according to the statement.

It added that “we will assist such operators, agents and writers to pay their license fees to the NLA and subsequently work for us.”

The statement continued that “We would like to commend Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, the Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for the modernizationof lotto business in Ghana by giving opportunity to Banker to Banker Lotto Operators, Agents and Writers to be registered and licensed under the PPP initiative, scrapping taxes on lotto, introducing NLA owned platform and  implementing the E-Kiosk project.”
