I’ll Run For NDP Flagbearership – Christabel Kye

Christabel Adomako Kye

Christabel Adomako Kye, CEO of Asona Royal Entertainment and a major player in the creative arts sector, has declared her bid for the National Democratic Party’s (NDP) flagbearer.

She said that her passion for mankind drives her desire to lead the party and run for president.

“Today, I want to make it clear. As soon as the party opens for nominations to be filed for the flagbearer of the party, I will do so,” she stated.

She feels that her long standing and contributions to the political party will be looked at by the party’s delegates when electing her flagbearer, and that she is more than qualified to head the NDP.

She urged everyone to support her ambition to become the NDP flagbearer and, eventually, president.

Despite being a highly valued member of the NDP, she is yet to formally inform the party hierarchy of her decision.

Christabel, who is still optimistic about her chances, is an advocate for women’s and children’s rights.

She has long admired the former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, and has tried to emulate her since joining the party.

She also believes the former first lady has many excellent intentions for the party and Ghanaians.

Christabel stated in an interview that she is currently working with the party leadership to revive free pre-schools in public settings like markets, among other things.

The Asona Royal Entertainment boss urged the party officials to reaffirm their devotion to the party’s objectives.

She said that Ghana needs a female president to revive the country’s dwindling fortunes.
